Meet Harley

Harley is an approximate 4.5-year-old, female, Jack Russell Terrier mix. She weighs about 23 lbs. This girl is a sweetheart! She is a super snuggler and loves to sleep in bed with you at night. Harley has a lot of energy and can walk a few miles and come home and run around in the fenced yard. A family that is active would be the best fit for her. Her foster family has 2 cats that Harley likes to chase and bark at so likely her best fit family will not have cats. She is being fostered with another smaller dog and she doesn't interact too much with him. When meeting other dogs on walks she doesn't seem to interact or react to them. She would do well as a single dog in the home. Harley needs some training with leash walking because she is so gung-ho that she walks at the end of her leash and pulls. Before coming to Hope, Harley lived with a family that has 3 children under 10. The activity level in the home was overwhelming for Harley and she suffered from anxiety due to the kids. Her best fit family will have older kids or no kids and a pretty low key environment. Harley needs daily exercise and an outlet for her energy. A fenced yard would be ideal for her. Harley loves stuffed toys, playing fetch, playing tug of war, and chewing on bones. Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
