***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Sonic is a big boy! At about 6 months old he is over 60 pounds already and a such a squishy guy. Just look at those cheeks and jowls! Sonic was surrendered to us because his family was separating and Sonic needed to find a new family. It's always sad when families have taken good care of their pets and it shows that they were loved and spoiled but they make the decision to have them find a new family. That is the case with Sonic. He lived with small children and his mom cared about him very much. He was given lots of love and all the toys he could want. Sonic is currently staying with a boarding kennel that we love to work with since we are so full at the shelter but they said he is a good boy and has found a love of playing fetch! We have not tested Sonic with cats or other dogs. He is cautious when he very first meets someone but it only takes just a second for him to show you his crazy playful puppy side. He loves to do zoomies in the snow! Sonic has a big bark so no one will be able to sneak in the house with out him letting you know. Sonic is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. We anticipate he will be a big boy when he is all grown. Sonic's adoption fee is $300.00
