Meet Ynona

YNONA (Wynonna) HAS NOT BEEN SPAYED YET.  SHE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL AFTER HER SPAY IN EARLY JUNE. Ynona is an approximate 12-week-old, female, 7 lb. Pitbull mix.  She was rescued by amazing people in Oklahoma and came to Iowa with her 2 sisters to follow her dreams of finding her perfect family. Ynona is the smallest puppy in her litter and is still nearly half the size of her siblings. She is a beautiful chocolate brown that looks black. Her name comes from the "Y" shaped white mark between her shoulder blades. This little girl is all the good things you want in a puppy! She is sweet and kinda spicy! She loves people and other dogs. She can hold her own with large dogs but does need to understand she can a bit big for her boots at times. Her foster family is intervening when necessary to help her realize she's overstepped her boundary and needs to walk away. She loves to snuggle with her foster family and play with toys. She has no experience with young children and her play style may too much for them so children 5 years and older may be best. She is working on house training and sleeps in a play pen at night and is doing well. Ynona needs a yard and preferably another compatible dog living in the home. Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
