Meet Crest! Crest is a delightful 2-year-old pit bull terrier mix with a heart of gold, now eagerly awaiting her forever family! This sweet girl started her journey found as a stray and recently transferred to our care from the Cedar Rapids shelter, and she's already made herself right at home. Despite her rough start, Crest is incredibly resilient and has shown herself to be dog-friendly. She's already charmed a couple of canine companions during her stay with us, proving she's happy to share playtime and walks with other pups. If you have another dog, Crest would love to meet them to be sure they're a compatible pair!  Crest is a loving, playful, and affectionate companion who can't wait to find a family that will cherish her. She's ready to bring so much joy and love into her new home - who doesn't love a big ol' grin like hers?!  If you're looking for a loyal and friendly addition to your family, Crest is ready to find her new home! She is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and started on monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives. Adoption Process
Adopters must fill out an application and be approved. Appointment is made to meet/pick up the pet. Adoption fee is returned if the adopter notifies us the adoption in not working and returns the pet within two weeks.
