Jax is an approximate 3-month-old, 20 lb., male, German Shephard mix. He is sweet and playful with the best ears in town. He's doing well with potty training, sits like a champ, and is starting to learn leash basics (he's a smart boy, so he'll catch on fast). He loves playing with his foster dog siblings and is good with human children and is curious but respectful of the resident cat. Most of all, Jax loves to be around his people. After a play session, he loves to hang out on the couch and chew on a yak stick. He's guaranteed to return any love you give him tenfold. He will be a large dog full grown at around 70 lbs. Jax came from Oklahoma in July with his 7 litter mates. They had been parvo exposed and unfortunately 6 of his litter mates passed from the disease. Jax has fully recovered and is doing fantastic. Littermates: Jax (M) Maggie (F) If you are interested in meeting Jax, please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines.
