Meet Patrick

Fill out the online form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.This handsome senior gent is Patrick. He didn't have a very good start in life but he has landed at DDR and we are determined he will me very much loved and pampered from now on. He does great with the other foster dogs. He is a little timid of people still but thinks maybe his foster mom is ok. He is learning that being picked up and petted are pretty good things. Patrick does need a fenced yard as he can spook easily.  Patrick is about 9 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. His adoption fee is $250 plus tax of $11.25 for a total of $261.25. 

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
