Meet Ada

We are an all volunteer/foster home based rescue. Please fill out the online adoption application by clicking on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the online form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.My name is Ada. I originally came to DDR as a breeder release. Then I got adopted. I really loved my new mom but I am a lady that matched on to one person and I don't like to share my person. I want to love my persons and no one else. My new person will be very lucky cause I will love them with all my heart. Do you have a very quiet home where I could live only you?  I need a fenced yard too. If you have questions you can ask my foster mom.  Ada is about 6 years old. She weighs about 15 pounds and her adoption fee is $350 plus tax of $15.75 for a total of $365.75. My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter and dental.  

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
