It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Tuktuk

 Tuktuk can be viewed by appointment at our Evansville rescue center.Tuktuk is a fun-loving boy that loves to play with his siblings, give gentle kisses, and bomb around the yard with the kids in his foster family. Tuktuk was orphaned at just 2.5 weeks and has been bottle-raised in an indoor foster home. He is the first to check out new situations and leads his siblings in play. He has been around adult dogs, kids, cats, and his brother and sisters. While his breed mix is unknown, based on his current weight we would expect his adult size to be medium. Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Adoption Process
