It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

This handsome boy already knows commands like sit and shake — a sure sign of the bright, trainable companion he can be!Kratos can be a little timid when meeting new people and tends to be unsure around children, so he would thrive best in a calm, patient home with adults or older teens who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and confident.Once he warms up, Kratos is incredibly loyal and eager to please. With the right person, he’s sure to blossom into a devoted best friend.If you believe in second chances and quiet companionship, Kratos is ready to start his new chapter with you.
