Meet Willow

Introducing Willow! She’s an adorable Shih Tzu/Maltese who weighs just 10 lbs!   Willow is 2 years old and so sweet..  Good with strangers, great with other dogs (and wants a small dog companion in her forever home) and we’ve been told she’s even good with cats and kids (due to her size, we’re not recommending a home with young children).  Willow wants to be with her people as much as possible and she’ll follow you wherever you go. She loves to snuggle, hang out on the couch, and is a people dog.  If you have an empty lap, she'll be there to fill it.  She is a constant companion and does suffer from some mild separation anxiety    Willow is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and micro chipped.  If you’re interested in adopting, please submit an application.  As we are an all volunteer organization, sending an email or inquiry will only receive a response if you’re asking a specific question not addressed in her profile       Basics: Female, 2 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested Home recommendation: Willow would be a great fit for a home with a fenced yard. She loves to run in the yard. She can be a vocal when left alone so She likes everyone and everything. Dogs: She loves other dogs and we want to see her in a home with another small dog. House training: Willow is doing well with house training but needs a little more work. She also seems to be pad trained. Cats: Good with cats. Kids:. We don’t recommend a home with children under 8, due to her size.   Adoption Fee:  $300.00 (plus tax for KY residents)     Adoption Process: Step 1: Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under Adopt.  Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY. Step 2: PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3: IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. Step 4: If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.  

Adoption Process
Approved Application, Home Visit, Adoption Contract, Typical fees are: $300 Puppies, $250 Adult dogs, $150 pair of kittens and $75 Adult cats Adopters must be a minimum of 24 years of age.
