Meet Oreo

This happy go lucky dainty girl is Oreo! Oreo is all puppy, and is a very smart little girl! She enjoys rough housing with her foster sisters, sleeping in warm sunny spots, and cuddling up close with her foster Mom. Oreo can be a little apprehensive of new people and seems to prefer women to men. She does not display any aggression, but will watch her foster dad closely and starts if he makes a quick movement to hide by foster Mom. We suspect Oreo to be some kind of Border Collie mix and she displays some strong characteristics of the breed! Oreo is light on her feet and is agile. She can (and will!) jump a baby gate easily. She likes to give little boops with her nose to get attention, and has some stuffed raccoons that she adores and carries around like her baby. Oreo is estimated to have been born the beginning of December. We anticipate that she will be a smaller size girl and at 6 months weighs just 26 pounds. Oreo is spayed and microchipped. She is 90% housebroken and will keep her crate clean. However, Oreo really prefers to be a free roaming dog and will break out of her crate. She uses her manners and has been left to roam the house with her foster sisters when the family is at work. Oreo is interested in cats and doesn’t understand why they don’t like to wrestle with her, but she backs away as soon as they hiss at her.
