S.A.D. is an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Starke County, Indiana. We are a private rescue and do not receive funds from the County. We are a foster-based rescue with a mission to serve the homeless dogs by fostering and supporting healthy, positive relationships between people and companion animals. S.A.D. rehomes companion pets into safe, healthy, lifelong homes; serves as an educational and counseling resource; and works to reduce pet overpopulation. We do it because every dog deserves a home

Meet Vivi

We have a litter of 4 Aussiedoodle puppies that were born on 2/11/25.  Mom is an Goldendoodle 50lbs and Dad is an Aussie Shepherd 45lbs.  They were a breeder transfer.  Please make sure to watch their video, as puppies do not take the best photos. Vivi is the only female in the litter and she can give the boys a run for their money. She is like a little football player always tackling and rolling around on the ground and being silly. She weighs in at 15lbs.  We require a fenced-in yard (no invisible fences), someone who is home more and has the time to care for a puppy, and we do not adopt puppies to families with kids under the age of 8.  Puppies are up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and microchipped. They will not be spayed/neutered before adoption, as our vet will not spay/neuter under the age of 6 months. Adopter will sign a spay/ neuter agreement and place a deposit of $75. The spay/neuter deposit is retained by us and shall be returned to the adopter with proof of spay/neuter. Please put in an application on our website, www.indianasaveadog.com. Please do not email us. If a puppy is listed on our website, it is still available. They can leave for adoption after May 28th. Adoption Fee is $350. You can place a $50 deposit to hold a puppy after your application is approved.
