S.A.D. is an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Starke County, Indiana. We are a private rescue and do not receive funds from the County. We are a foster-based rescue with a mission to serve the homeless dogs by fostering and supporting healthy, positive relationships between people and companion animals. S.A.D. rehomes companion pets into safe, healthy, lifelong homes; serves as an educational and counseling resource; and works to reduce pet overpopulation. We do it because every dog deserves a home

Meet Vinnie

We have a litter of 4 Aussiedoodle puppies that were born on 2/11/25.  Mom is an Goldendoodle 50lbs and Dad is an Aussie Shepherd 45lbs.  They were a breeder transfer.  Please make sure to watch their video, as puppies do not take the best photos. Vinnie is the biggest of them at 23lbs. He is a sweet, gentle boy that puts up with the antics of his smaller siblings. He is not pushy and waits for his turn for treats. We require a fenced-in yard (no invisible fences), someone who is home more and has the time to care for a puppy, and we do not adopt puppies to families with kids under the age of 8.  Puppies are up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and microchipped. They will not be neutered before adoption, as our vet will not neuter under the age of 6 months. Adopter will sign a spay/ neuter agreement and place a deposit of $75. The spay/neuter deposit is retained by us and shall be returned to the adopter with proof of spay/neuter. Please put in an application on our website, www.indianasaveadog.com. Please do not email us. If a puppy is listed on our website, it is still available. They can leave for adoption after May 28th. Adoption Fee is $350. You can place a $50 deposit to hold a puppy after your application is approved.
