S.A.D. is an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Starke County, Indiana. We are a private rescue and do not receive funds from the County. We are a foster-based rescue with a mission to serve the homeless dogs by fostering and supporting healthy, positive relationships between people and companion animals. S.A.D. rehomes companion pets into safe, healthy, lifelong homes; serves as an educational and counseling resource; and works to reduce pet overpopulation. We do it because every dog deserves a home

Meet Norah

Meet Norah, she was rescued from a high intake Texas shelter. She was scheduled to be euthanized. She is 5-6 years of age, 50 lbs, vet checked and in good health, spayed,  heartworm negative, and microchipped. Norah loves all people, she is well-behaved, house trained. She is a big couch potato. She is good with large, friendly dogs like her, however, she would love to be the only dog in a home, as she is a big people pleaser and wants all the attention.  She must have a fenced-in yard, and would do best in a home where someone is home more. Although she is good with children, she must go to a home with older children.  Adoption fee is $100. Please put your application in at www.indianasaveadog.com.
