Hey there, I'm Reese, a charming 1-year-old, 55lb male black Lab eagerly searching for my furever home. With my dashing looks and loving personality, I embody all the traits you'd expect from a Lab: sweetness, loyalty and a perpetually happy attitude, all shining through my expressive eyes. Rescued from a tough life as a stray in Texas and beating the odds as a black dog at a southern kill shelter, I've made my way to Clarkston, Michigan, holding out hope for a loving family.I thrive on human companionship and love to stick by your side wherever you go. I'm quite the social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs, and nothing makes me happier than playing with my toys, I can keep myself entertained for hours! Cuddling up with my stuffed animals is my favorite pastime, and I absolutely adore kids. As for cats, I’m pretty disinterested.Whether I'm lounging indoors or having a blast outdoors, I'm a content pup. I'm a pro at traveling in the car and walking on a leash, and while I'm still learning some commands, I'm highly motivated and eager to learn. With a mix of a wise old soul and a playful puppy spirit, I bring the perfect blend of affection and energy to any family.
