Kentuckiana Pug Rescue

Kentuckiana Pug Rescue (KPR) is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization (permit #P15-001003) committed to helping all needy Pugs in the states of Indiana and Kentucky.  We work to find both abandoned, as well as surrendered Pugs, loving, forever homes in which they can live out the rest of their lives. KPR does not have a central facility where Pugs can be visited.  Each rescued Pug lives with a foster family until they can be placed in an adoptive home.

Meet Forrest

Forrest is a 2 year old male pug who is very active.  He LOVES playing and doesn't realize he's not a big dog.  He wants to be friends with ALL the dogs.  He needs help with his potty manners, but knows what to do (Living with a bunch of old geezer foster siblings who are incontinent, and a good consistent routine will help tremendously, and we believe he can be potty trained quickly). He does have a seizure disorder that is well controlled on medication. One of his seizure meds has recently been lowered, and he has not had a seizure in his current foster home (8ish months).  His meds are inexpensive, but will need to be regularly monitored by a veterinarian, and/or his neurologist.  Do you have a super active pup that needs to run and play off some of that energy? Forrest needs your pup as much as (you and) your pup needs him! This sweet boy would thrive with another energetic dog his size (or bigger!) and with an active family. When under stimulated, he can get a little nippy, so dog savvy kids would be best!  Location:  Indianapolis Donation:  $275
