BONDED PAIR. This is a bonded pair so we are only adopting them together. These adorable seniors are GABE and MIA, 12-13 year old Maltese mixes, who are seeking their final home. Gabe and Mia’s owner passed away in the home and A Caring Place was contacted by the officer who removed them from the home, to ask if we would be able to help by taking them into foster care. Please don’t let their age deter you; they do not act their ages and have a lot of “pep” in their steps. Gabe and Mia are very sweet, loving dogs who you would NEVER guess to be seniors! They get along very well with other small dogs and have done great with every adult they have met. In addition, they have wonderful house manners. These cuties become animated and excited when their foster family members come home - greeting them with wagging tails, wiggly bodies and the sweetest little barks. Gabe is the Maltese (white dog) and he is the more playful of the two dogs. Mia is Maltese/Shih Tzu mix (black and white) and she tends to be more docile and reserved like a gentile lady; she enjoys spending time hanging out with her foster family members. They both love their cushy beds for nap time too. Gabe and Mia would do best with a fenced yard for toileting breaks, and an adopter who would enjoy taking them on daily walks for exercise. These dogs have been examined by licensed veterinarians and are in great condition with no health concerns. They have been provided vaccines, been dewormed, tested for diseases, spayed, and microchipped.
