I'm Iris, the epitome of puppy energy and charm! With my pointy ears and wagging tail, I'm here to steal your heart and fill your home with endless joy. I'm a social butterfly who loves making friends, especially with my four-legged pals. Whether it's a game of tag with my husky buddy or a gentle wrestle with my senior pals, I'm always up for some furry fun with my foster family. My life changed immensely when I was found in a Trailer Park in Dallas and luckily found my savior who found me a foster home until I was transferred to Care on a plane with one of their volunteers. I was very lucky to travel in comfort. At night, you'll find me cozied up in my crate, snoozing peacefully after a long day of play. I'm still working on mastering the art of potty training, but I'm getting better every day. Plus, I'm a pro at letting you know when nature calls! I'm on the lookout for a forever family who shares my love for adventure and cuddles. Another doggy playmate would be paws-itively perfect, as long as they're cool with my playful antics. And while I adore older kids, I prefer ones who understand that I'm still learning the ropes. When I'm not romping around or snuggling up, you'll often find me chewing on my favorite toys or munching on sticks in the backyard. And if I ever get a little too rowdy, just make a purring sound—I promise it'll do the trick! So, if you're searching for a furry bundle of love and laughter, look no further than me, Iris! Together, we'll make endless memories and fill each day with wagging tails and wet kisses. Let's embark on this tail-wagging adventure together! I have been spayed and microchipped and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
