Meet Miah
Meet Miah! Miah is a beautiful, affectionate 2-year-old female with a heart full of love. Her foster mom says she’s never had a dog as sweet and cuddly as Miah! She absolutely adores attention, often using her little heeler paw to gently grab your arm for more pets and body rubs. This smart girl is potty trained—she’ll pace by the door when she needs to go out. She also walks well on a leash and gets along great with other dogs, making her an excellent companion. Miah’s journey started when a Good Samaritan found her sitting motionless along a busy road near Central Indiana. Concerned for her well-being, they brought her to a shelter—only to be surprised when she gave birth to five puppies! Knowing that a shelter was no place for a new mother and her babies, she was quickly transported to a foster home in Plymouth, IN, where she could safely care for her little ones. Now that her puppies are grown, it’s Miah’s turn to find a loving forever home. She’s ready to soak up all the love and attention a family can give—could that be you? Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about Miah. You can complete an application to adopt Miah or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org . *** The potential adopter will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.
Adoption Process
Adoption process includes completing an application, having personal references checked, vet checks and home visit by one of our volunteers. Your application and backup information is then presented to the Board/Committee for review. Once your application has been approved, you may then schedule a meeting with the dog(s) in which you are interested. The foster home has the final approval on the adoption of his or her dog.
