Meet Oats
Looking for a loyal sidekick with a dash of sass and a whole lot of heart? Meet Oats—a friendly, outgoing, and delightfully quirky Chug mix who’s ready to be your new best friend. At 4 years old and just under 24 pounds, Oats is the perfect size for lap snuggles (which she adores) and short strolls around the neighborhood. She’s mostly house-trained, though she’ll need a quick exit when nature calls. Her foster doesn’t use a crate, and Oats is perfectly content snoozing in bed with her humans—her favorite place to be. Oats is a toy enthusiast with a particular obsession for balls. Fetch? Sort of. She’s great at chasing them… not so great at giving them back! She enjoys yard time, brief walks, and chewing on a good bone. One of her cutest quirks? Quietly piling her toys behind her foster while they cook—her own little love language. She’s great with kids, especially those 5 and up, and while she tolerates her foster’s dog, she’d probably prefer to be the center of attention in a home of her own. Oats is also quite the conversationalist, so she’ll do best in a home without shared walls where she can express herself freely. Described as adaptable, happy, playful, and loyal, Oats is ready to bring joy, companionship, and a few giggles to a home that appreciates her unique charm. Ready to let Oats follow you into your heart—and maybe the kitchen too? She’s waiting. Her adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at: http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm
