Meet Georgina, a petite 9.6-pound Lhasa Apso mix with a heart full of love and a bit of sass. At 5 years old, this darling little lady is house-trained and keeps her crate spotless—though she’d much rather be near her people than tucked away. She fills her day with the things she enjoys most: prancing proudly on short walks, riding shotgun in the car, gently playing with her soft toys, and lounging around the house or yard. Georgina has a charming habit of making funny little grumbly noises as she putters about, especially when she’s entertaining herself or curling up for a nap. While she currently lives with other dogs and a cat, she’s been making it clear that she’d love to be the star of the show. She would thrive as an only pet, soaking up all the affection and princess treatment she knows she deserves—and she’ll happily repay it with cuddles, kisses, and quiet companionship. Though she’s initially shy and reserved, Georgina warms up with time and reveals her affectionate, snuggly side. Her foster mom describes her as a sweet and easy little dog who is a joy to have around. She is vocal in her crate and tends to bark at normal household sounds, so she’ll need a home without shared walls—like a single-family home—where she can feel safe and relaxed without disturbing the neighbors. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend to dote on, one who will adore being close and bring warmth and charm into your home, Georgina is ready to meet you. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
