Meet MAGGIE

Meet Maggie – A Gentle Soul Looking for Peace and Patience Maggie is a sweet, senior Lab with a heart full of love and a gentle nature, especially around other dogs. She’s fantastic with her furry companions and seems to draw comfort from their calm presence. But after losing her person and enduring a period of loneliness and confinement, Maggie is understandably still carrying the weight of that trauma. She’s currently in the process of decompressing and learning that she’s safe again. Maggie doesn’t tolerate a crate—being confined is simply too stressful for her right now. She also struggles with being left alone in the house and will vocalize her distress, even if it’s just for a moment while someone steps outside. What Maggie needs most is a patient, understanding home—one that can offer her time, consistency, and kindness as she slowly begins to trust the world again. With that, her true personality will shine through: loyal, loving, and full of quiet gratitude. APPLY AT PROJECTHOPEARF.ORG
