Meet Anne

Anne is a gorgeous 3 year old Husky mix.  She is house and crate trained.  She doesn't enjoy being in the crate when people are still in the house, and will let you know by crying.  She enjoys long walks, car rides, toys, and running around the house.  She does well with other dogs, but needs to be fed separately as she guards her food.  She is described as; friendly, playful, confident, adaptable, playful, and loyal.  She has some typical Husky behaviors such as "speaking" or "chattering", but she doesn't bark much.  She will do well in an active home where she can get a lot of exercise.  She would probably enjoy another dog in the home for companionship and a fenced in yard, though it's not a requirement. Anne's foster mom says, "Anne has been a joy to foster. She is high energy but will also hang out on the couch. She is very playful but is also very gentle. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house. We are working on her leash manners and crating. She knows some tricks and is very playful. Besides her warm and outgoing personality, she is gorgeous with a magnificent coat. She would do great in a home with prior dog experience." Her minimum adoption fee is $295  plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Interview, match pet to person/family, check references, especially vet info. will always take animal back if doesn't work out.
