Meet Becker
Hear Ye! Hear Ye... to all those with Dachshund experience... Introducing Becker! He is a typical Dachshund being a lowrider with the long "stretch-limo" body. He wags his tail when you talk to him, is a little shy and will come to you once he feels comfortable and prefers the company of other dogs over humans. He is approximately 1 year old and 16-18bs. Becker is great with other dogs, is crate trained (will softly protest at first) and is partially house trained which the foster is working on. He loves being where everyone is, plays with toys and will follow you around like a shadow too! Leash walking training in progress as it is completely new to him. Kids should be 12+ plus and understand the quirks of a Dachshund - fast movements and loud noises will startle him and that he will warm up to them on his terms. A home with ANOTHER DOG IS REQUIRED and Dachshund experience along with a fenced yard for his safety preferred. We recommend obedience training for all dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest! If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: ( www.magnificentmutts.org ) No phone calls please, emails only. Dogs/Puppies adoption donations range from $300-$400 (cash only). Prices are subject to change, please contact for specific adoption donation.
