Staley may have been born in an abandoned house, but today she’s thriving in foster care and soaking up all the love and care she missed early on. Her mama, a medium-sized dog, had to beg for food to keep her little ones alive—but now all of them are safe, secure, and learning what it means to be part of a family. With an estimated birthday of January 10, 2025, Staley is already 26 pounds, so we suspect her dad might have been on the larger side! This sweet and spunky girl is full of puppy joy. She loves toys, enjoys chewing, and is always up for a play session with her foster dog siblings. Staley gets along with dogs of all sizes and both genders, and while she hasn’t been around kids just yet, she would likely do well in any loving home that’s ready to continue working on typical puppy manners—like curbing her enthusiastic jumping. Staley is crate trained and does well sleeping in her crate at night and while her foster mom is at work. She’s making great progress with house training and is also working on basic obedience. A yard to run and play in is a plus for this playful pup, but she’ll be happy as long as she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and love. If you’re looking for a happy, outgoing, and playful companion who’s ready to grow into your heart and home, Staley is ready to meet you! Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
