Rocky is in the Boonville Animal Shelter in Boonville, MO.  This is a courtesy listing and anyone wishing to meet or get more information on Rocky should contact the shelter, by e-mailing [email protected] is a medium-sized young adult BC who is looking for a home where his BC temperament and tendencies will be understood.  He is anxious in a shelter environment but loves attention and petting and is very happy to go for car rides.  He will need someone who can help him accept basic cooperative care things, like having his feet handled, but he is willing to work with people!  He walks nicely on a leash, is house-trained, and has no noted health issues. Rocky hasn't been tested around cats or children, and other dogs can make him nervous, but that may or may not continue once he has a home of his own.  A shelter staff person says this about Rocky: "Rocky is a very sweet once he gets to know you. He loves to play with toys. He loves to take his sweet time chewing on his busy bones. He would make a great farm dog, loading straight into the car when needed." Adoption Process
Adoption process includes completing an application, having personal references checked, vet checks and home visit by one of our volunteers. Your application and backup information is then presented to the Board/Committee for review. Once your application has been approved, you may then schedule a meeting with the dog(s) in which you are interested. The foster home has the final approval on the adoption of his or her dog.
