Introducing AMORA, a beautiful, 2-year-old, 16 pound, purebred Miniature Schnauzer who was surrendered to our rescue after her senior owner could no longer care for her. Amora had lived with two senior Schnauzers, but now in foster care she is living with small to medium sized dogs. She does great with all of them; her “bestie” is a little 9 pound Chihuahua mix. Amora has lived with men and women and is friendly to all; she has no experience with children, so she is approved for households with children 8 years and older. Being a young dog, Amora is energetic and enthusiastic so she’d do best with an active adopter who would enjoy playing with Amora as well as taking her for walking adventures; this lovely girl walks nicely on a leash so is a great walking companion. Amora also has good house manners - she is a really good dog. She craves attention from her humans, and really loves to receive pets and loving attention. In addition, Amora enjoys playing with the other dogs and could easily live with most. We have noticed in foster care that Amora has a mothering instinct about her, stepping-in when other dogs are playing too rough. Amora is housebroken. Amora requires routinized grooming every few months as well as regular brushing to keep her soft coat in good shape. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, received vaccines, been tested for heartworm disease and tick-borne diseases, been dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.
