Meet Penny
This little sweetie is Penny! She is a young pup (DOB ~1/20/25) and weighs 20.5 lbs. She's making good progress with housetraining and does well in her crate. She does well with other dogs and kids, but still has the puppy tendencies to play nibble and is still learning to keep her paws on the ground. She enjoys a good bone to chew on, plus car rides, and cuddles. She is described as friendly, outgoing, adaptable, happy, playful, and loyal. Penny will do well in most environments, but will thrive in an active home that can provide her with the physical and mental stimulation she needs. While a fence is not required, it would be nice because she loves to run and play. Penny's foster mom shared, " Penny is such a lover. She loves playing with her canine foster brothers. Holds her own with them and they are big dogs. She loves to follow. She will sit when she wants your attention. She is a very hungry girl. She currently gets fed 3 times a day and gets small “snacks” when she seems to be looking for food. She likes bones. But most of all she loves to snuggle. She can sleep in a kennel or in bed. She has a 3 am potty break. She likes to nibble still while she is getting comfortable. But very easily can be stopped and will then lay with/on top/next to you. She often gets up and naps in our recliner when we force separation from playing “all the time”. She has the sweetest soul." Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
