Meet COOPER

This handsome fella is “COOP”, short for Cooper, a 4-5 year old Collie/Australian Shepherd or Shetland Sheepdog mix who currently weighs 49 pounds. Coop is housebroken, kennel trained, and is starting to respond to his name and knows a few commands too. He loves attention and spending time outside but will require a tie-out/lead or securely fenced yard. Chew bones are Coop’s favorite thing. He is well mannered with other dogs and people, but a little too curious with cats. Cooper needs a cozy place where he feels safe to sleep; he would love your bed if allowed, but his kennel works just fine too.  To his foster care provider’s surprise, Cooper does not shed much and he is such a good boy. Coop needs someone around throughout the day to keep him company – typically he does OK for about four hours before he becomes too anxious. Coop might have been a farm dog prior to rescue. He loves to be outside, but he is also great inside the home and really enjoys being in the company of his human.  This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, provided vaccinations, was tested for Heartworm Disease and tick borne diseases plus intestinal parasites, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped.
