Meet Tamera, the sweetest, gentlest cutie pie you'll ever come across! Rescued and nursed back to health, this 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix has stolen our hearts and is now ready to steal yours! She's reached her healthy weight of 70 pounds, is fully potty trained, and walks great on a leash. Plus, she enjoys car rides! Despite her past, Tamera's heart is full of love and affection, especially for kids - they're her absolute favorite! Although she'll likely do well with all kids, Tamera's foster mom believes she might accidentally knock over a toddler if she's not paying attention. She's eager for belly rubs and human companionship. This smartie knows the sit, shake, and down commands. She is treat-motivated and loves to learn. Tamera's hobbies include running in the yard with her canine pals and kids, playing with toys, and chewing on bones. This sweetheart thrives on being around people and gets along famously with other dogs. Although Tamera's respectful of smaller dogs, she would prefer canine playmates who weigh 40+ pounds with the same energy and play level.   Tamera's foster mom shared: "Her dream home would be one with children to be her best friend and maybe a dog playmate too! She also loves to be outside, so either a fenced in yard or an active family would make her so happy!" With her gentle demeanor and loving nature, Tamera is searching for a forever home where she can shower her new family with endless love and affection. Could you be her special person? She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
