several people broke off from a local rescue that had become, in our opinion, too much about prestige and money. They also weren't doing a good job in caring for the pets physically and mentally. We want to focus on the quality of our work, not quantity. We do rescue simply because it's the right thing to do! I am a certified vet tech so i've always thought that it's kind of my duty to share my talents.

Meet Gwen

Meet Gwen, a super-sweet, fun, and playful Mixed Breed girl! She is about 10 months old and weighs 44 pounds.  Gwen loves to play with toys and bones. Her hobbies include running in the yard and playing ball outside. She gets so excited when she has a new toy or bone and loves to show it off! This smart cookie knows the "sit" command and is very food motivated.  Wish Bone staff shared that Gwen is reportedly dog-friendly and shows good signs of wanting to play. Are you looking for a fun-loving companion? Gwen might be the right gal for you! Her adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. Gwen has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
