Meet TOBY

This adorable, 10 pound, 7 year-old pup is TOBY, most likely a Jack Russell Terrier mix. Toby is a very loyal pup who is calm and more quiet; he loves sitting on his foster mom’s lap getting some one-on-one time and cuddling. Toby gets along with other smaller dogs, as long as they are respectful of his space and are more calm. Based on what we have seen in foster care, Toby could be an only dog or live with another small dog in his adoptive home. He enjoys playing with his toys on occasion and chewing on bones. In addition, Toby walks well on a leash, does great with a fenced in yard, and is completely housebroken.  When meeting new people, Toby tends to be unsure and timid so he requires a calm household that doesn’t have a lot of people coming and going so he feels comfortable and safe. Toby has a congenital defect of his one eye called Microphthalmia but that just means that one eye smaller than the other; there is no medical treatment nor medicine required and is not painful. He is ready to find his happy ever after - is that you?  Toby is not a candidate for households with children under the age of 12 due to his timidity. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, been provided vaccines, been dewormed, tested for diseases, neutered, and microchipped.
