Meet Mazy

Mazy is a 1.5-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd mix with a stunning tricolor merle coat and a playful, affectionate spirit. Weighing in at 28 pounds, she’s the perfect size for someone looking for a companion who’s equally up for adventure and snuggles on the couch. We learned that Mazy has lived successfully with other dogs, enjoys car rides, and absolutely loves her squeaky toys. She’s house and crate trained, and while she can be shy in new environments or around unfamiliar people, she warms up with patience and quickly becomes your most loyal sidekick. She’s done fine around kids—tending to observe from a distance at first—and with time, could easily grow comfortable with them in the home. Now in foster care, Mazy continues to show what a sweet and fun girl she is. She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in the home and even initiated a play session with her foster sister by giving a cheerful play bow. Once she trusts you, she’s incredibly affectionate and will happily cuddle in bed or curl up beside you on the couch. She enjoys walks (the more, the better!) and loves running around a fenced yard. With her gentle heart and joyful spirit, Mazy is ready to bring so much love to the right home. Her adoption fee is just $150 thanks to a generous sponsor, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents if 4 months or older. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
