Meet Elmer

Hi, I’m Elmer! I’m often misunderstood, but I am a really good boy with a little care and compassion. I was left on my lonesome in a garage before I was rescued, but I am anything but resourceful and adjusted to my situation. I didn’t have a choice.  I know it’s weird, but I actually like being in a kennel. I’m not adverse, as long as my family is around. Toys are the best! I never knew until recently how cool toys were! I wasn’t given a lot of toys to play with in my past. The kennel thing. I object a little because I don’t like being alone, but my whole short life has been about adjusting to my environment.  Also, if your little ones leave out toys, well I think it’s free game and I’m going to do a chew. Again, I am a huge fan of toys! I can’t help myself. Toys are life! I nip a little bit, but I am also working on being better at that.  If it’s not toys, my second love is going on a stroll, I also enjoy playing with a companion in the backyard.  I am in the middle of training right now, but I know I will overcome and accomplish that too! Just be patient with me. Adoption Process
We have adoption screening forms, overnights, home visits. Fees are a flat adoption fee varying by age of dog.
