Despite the challenges I've faced, I'm a pup full of love and eager to find my forever home.   Picture this: one blue eye, one black eye, and a big white head that's hard to resist. I was found as a stray in the bustling streets of Chicago, but my luck changed when Care saw something special in me. From the moment I met them, I knew I had to show them just how smart and well-mannered I could be. Turns out, they saw the potential in me, and now I'm on the path to a brighter future.   My past isn't all sunshine and rainbows, though. I spent too much time confined to a crate, covered in urine stains and longing for a better life. Thanks to the caring volunteers at Care, I've been cleaned up and given a second chance at happiness.   Nowadays, you'll often find me playing with soft toys or lounging on a comfy bed. I may still enjoy the security of my crate, but I'm learning to embrace the freedom of exploration and playtime.   On walks, I have a habit of collecting sticks, though I'm working on leaving them alone. And when it comes to making friends, I'm a social butterfly. Kids, dogs, cats—I love them all and greet them with a wagging tail and a friendly sniff.   So, if you're searching for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, look no further than me, Manny. With my charming personality and unwavering affection, I'm ready to bring joy and love to my forever family. Will you be the one to give me the loving home I've been dreaming of?   I have been neutered and microchipped and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325.00. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
