Meet Rigby, a pint-sized pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. With his adorable wirey coat, short little legs, and long body, he’s a unique mix of who-knows-what, but we’re calling him a Terrier mix with maybe a dash of Dachshund charm. Born around March 6, 2025, Rigby currently weighs 9 pounds and is expected to grow into the larger side of small or the smaller side of medium. Rigby is the definition of happy-go-lucky. He approaches life with endless curiosity, joy, and a touch of mischief. He’s always ready to play, explore, and make new friends—especially the four-legged kind. Rigby doesn’t care how big or small the other dogs are; he’s convinced they all want to be his playmate. After all the fun, he’s more than happy to snuggle up and be your personal cuddle-bug, offering the sweetest little kisses that will melt your heart. Like all puppies, Rigby will thrive with gentle guidance, patience, and plenty of love as he grows into the amazing adult dog he’s destined to be. He hasn’t met kids yet, but his foster mom is confident he’d be over the moon to have a few of his own to love. Rigby is small but mighty, full of love, and ready to bring joy to a home that’s as special as he is. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
