Meet Henry

Henry is a 3-year-old Poodle mix who weighs 63 pounds. He’s a fun-loving, happy boy with a great balance of playful energy and relaxed companionship. At the shelter, he’s been a model resident—he keeps a perfectly clean run and is quiet as can be. Henry thrives on attention and belly rubs, and he lights up when he’s around people. This handsome guy loves to play with toys and will happily sprint and zoom around the yard with them. He also knows how to slow down and enjoy a good cuddle on the couch. One of Henry’s favorite activities is going on “sniffaris”—long, exploratory walks where he can take in all the scents of the world around him. He would love a home where he can enjoy frequent walks or spend time in a yard exploring at his own pace. Henry is reportedly friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, and he’s not jumpy or overwhelming in his excitement. Whether you’re looking for a walking buddy, a playmate, or a snuggle partner, Henry might just be the perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
