This cutie-pie is Lola, a 7-year-old Chihuahua Mix who weighs 16.2 pounds. She's fully house-trained and sleeps wherever she wants. Her foster mom doesn't use a crate. Lola's hobbies include hanging out in the house (especially snuggled in a cozy blanket), romping around the yard, brief walks, chewing on bones, and playing with toys. She's good with dogs her size or smaller, cats, and children over age five (babies and toddlers make her nervous). Lola enjoys "talking" to her people, so she needs a home without shared walls. A fence is required for her safety because she can escape a harness, doesn't enjoy tie-outs, and runs in fear when she's scared. Lola will thrive in a quiet home with few visitors, with an owner who will give her plenty of mental and physical exercise. Her foster mom shared: "Lola is a sweet baby girl who loves kisses and has the most beautiful and funny smile when she’s happy! She loves bringing her favorite toys to the door to greet you when you come home. And she loves chest rubs and sitting in your lap. She loves playing with the cats (when they want to) and she allows them to pile on her to sleep! She’s an amazing dog." Are you looking for a sweet cuddle-bug who'll bring more joy to your life? Lola may be the girl for you! Her adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
