Meet Toast

Toast is a 3.5 month old male Doxie Poo who weighs in at 5.7 pounds. This pup's adoption fee is $850.  If you are still interested, please read more below. Toast is super cuddly!  He instantly becomes best friends and cuddle buddies with anyone he is around.  Toast is very mellow, but playful. He will fall asleep anywhere and is really great around kids young and old. Toast loves all the attention!  He has the cutest little puppy eyes that are sure to melt your heart.  If Toast is the puppy of your dreams, fill out an application today! This pup is micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. ***Toast is NOT neutered because the veterinarian recommended waiting to have him neutered until he was 6 months old. If you choose to adopt Toast and get him neutered at 6 months of age, at one of the vet offices that ARF works with, his neuter will be completely paid for by ARF. If you have additional questions about this, Toast’s foster will be happy to speak to you!*** The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting this pup fill out an online application today!  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.  ARF is an all volunteer organization.  Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved.  Thank you for your patience!

Adoption Process
Read more about our adoption process on our website at: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/ Adoption fees depend on the animal. Please see the pet’s biography for information on their adoption fee. Below is an overview of what you can expect during the pet adoption process: Step 1: Submit an online adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Step 2: Our volunteers will review your application and reach out with a status. This step can take up to five business days. Step 3: If your application is approved you will be invited to meet with the cat or dog you are interested in at a mutually agreed upon time and location. Step 4: We’ll walk you through the benefits of adopting through A.R.F., then complete the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours! Step 5: Complete required follow-ups such as obedience training or spay/neuter (if delayed due to medical reasons).
