Meet Gracie
I found Gracie on a 2-lane road close to the GA/AL border. Skinny with her ribs showing, with paw pads bloody and raw. She let me pick her up and got her in the car and then found the nearest veterinarian and - of course - she had not been chipped or spayed. She gulped down food as if she hadn't eaten in days. I checked with my wife to see if we could keep her (we already had 2 dogs and 2 cats) and she said of course! Gracie settled in and quickly was house-trained and slept in her crate at night. 99% of the time she got along with both of our other dogs, but in situations where they were all jammed up together when the doorbell would ring, she would latch on to the back of the neck of our smallest dog. Thankfully, not hurt or injured and no blood, but scary to see. Our veterinarian put Gracie on generic Prozac to see if that would help - and it has - but she has since nipped a Chihuahua on the lip when they were jammed up in the kitchen. Gracie loves humans, but reacts to other dogs. **** Breed: bulldog mix **** Pet Link: https://www.nokillnetwork.org/adoption/pet_detail.php?petid=2154934&flag=1
