Pet Adoption League of Gem County

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Meet Zeke

Meet Zeke Personality: Zeke may look intimidating at first glance with his large size (115 lbs.) and strong physique, but spend just a few moments with him and you'll quickly realize he's a big goofball at heart. He's a gentle giant who adores the company of people and other animals alike. Zeke is a well-mannered dog; he's mastered all the basic commands like sit, stay, down, and shake hands, and he's eager to learn even more. He walks calmly by your side, making him an ideal companion for leisurely strolls around the neighborhood or relaxing hikes in the great outdoors. Ideal Home: Zeke is longing for a family to call his own, but he's looking for someone who can be with him most of the time. If you work from home or are retired and seeking a devoted canine companion to keep you company throughout the day, Zeke might be the perfect match for you. He's the type of dog who loves nothing more than curling up at your feet while you work, offering quiet companionship and unwavering loyalty. Despite his size, Zeke is excellent with kids and other animals. Foster or Adoption: If you're searching for a gentle giant who is equal parts loving and loyal, Zeke might just be the furry friend you've been looking for. Contact the Pet Adoption League today to learn more about this wonderful dog and how you can make him a cherished member of your family. If you would like to fill out the form for adopting or fostering, please complete the adoption form here (for adoption) or the foster application here (for fostering). Volunteer Opportunities: PAL is always looking for individuals eager to lend a helping hand as a volunteer. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or more, there are many opportunities available to suit your schedule.
