Meet Terrance

A SWEET & HANDSOME GUY:  Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 45 lbs.     Hi, my name is Terrance!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and boy, am I happy to be part of the MM family now!  I am enjoying my time with the volunteers, and they love me – but I can’t wait to be in my new furever home – hopefully soon!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I’ll be dog tested soon, as I’m not sure about them just yet.  If you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet and happy tail waggin’ boy!  I’m quite affectionate and – though I was a bit wary of the bath sprayer during my shelter bath, I sure enjoyed the massaging and brushing part!  The volunteers describe me as a ‘great dog’ – just a calm, friendly fellow with the softest coat – just right for petting. I’m curious about everything I explore and also have a goofy side that is sure to make you smile! I’ve done some mounting, but my recent neuter should help with that soon.  I didn’t mean to hurt my walker but I got upset about another dog and grabbed her leg briefly – sorry about that.  / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are pretty good at Mostly Mutts, though sometimes when it is time to go back in – I’d rather be with you.  Yummy kibble helps lure me in, though. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love being with people and have a blast in the playpen at the shelter with the volunteers – occasionally chasing the bee that is brave enough to get within reach of my mouth – lol.  If my new home has a fenced yard, I bet we can have a blast there too! I also love to be petted and have my handsome coat brushed.  I walk well on my leash (though I will sometimes try to grab my leash in my mouth).  I’m hoping for some great walks in my future. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I’m in need of a dental cleaning and if I’m adopted before I receive that, Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with their vet, so local adoption please.  I am looking for a home where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility.
