FUN & LOYAL FRIEND FOR YOU:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 36 lbs. Hello, I’m Charlotte!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I couldn’t be more grateful!  I’m making friends with all the great volunteers at the shelter, and now I hear I’m ready to find my new family. So exciting!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / I recently was introduced to a kitty at the shelter and did well with them, so if you have a dog-friendly kitty at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I liked the kids I met recently (age 10+) at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers or small children that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as ‘sweet as can be’, and – when you meet me – I bet you will agree!  I’m quite the charmer and definitely see myself as a lap dog – yep, all 36 pounds of me – lol.  I’m affectionate, playful and friendly with a very loving nature. / My energy level is currently 4 - 6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command and – true to my breed mix, I will likely catch on to several other commands too, so let’s put in some training time together! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Cuddle time and play time – that is how I like to split up my day!  I love body rubs and will give you sweet hugs in appreciation.  A true cuddle bug, I really love laps and being close to you. Toys are fun too, so let’s plan on lots of play sessions together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a home where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home. Dogs: Our adoption fee is $299. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash: Spay or Neuter Surgery Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella) De-Worming Microchip Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats.
