Meet Cardinal, a charming 6-year-old Hound Mix, and one of our beloved long-term residents who has been patiently waiting for the loving home and family he deserves. This handsome boy came to us as a stray, but his heart is still full of love and optimism, and his happy-go-lucky spirit shines as bright as ever. With a heart as big as his 60-pound frame, Cardinal is the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back charm, making him the ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend to devote his endless love to. One of his cutest traits is his signature “submissive grin,” where he scrunches his nose and sneezes with excitement, letting you know he’s thrilled to be around you! As the official office greeter, Cardinal loves making sure everyone feels welcome, wagging his tail and flashing that grin. After a nice walk or play session, he’s content to settle down for a long nap on the cool office floors, often letting out soft snores as he dreams. He also loves rolling on his back in the yard, especially on top of tennis balls, and relaxing near the door for some prime people and dog watching. Cardinal’s laid-back nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for an easygoing, sweet, and loving dog. His favorite thing? Coming up to you, resting his head on your lap, and of course, giving you that adorable look that says, “Are there any treats around?” His perfect day includes a little playtime or a nice walk, followed by a long, peaceful nap. Cardinal is more than ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and plenty of cozy nap sessions.

Adoption Process
We have a 4-page adoption application and agreement. The fee is $90 for cats, and $100 for dogs.
