Meet Rollo
A BUSY LITTLE FELLOW: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 11 lbs. Hi, I’m Rollo! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and was adopted for a few months, but it wasn’t a good fit as I had too much energy for my family, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for a good match. Could it be you? I’m working with a Mostly Mutts trainer so there will be more information about me very soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I want to be your only dog as I’m very reactive to other dogs. / No cats please as I don’t like them per my former owner. / My former owner reported that I liked kids, though I don’t remember their ages. Since I can be reactive, I think older kids will be best, so if you have teens and up, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a fun, sweet and busy little guy looking for a wonderful family! My former adopter reported that I didn’t like men, but male volunteers have easily walked me at the shelter. My trainer will be testing me soon to see if I have issues with men, so ask about that. I have a high prey drive, so I’ll keep our yard free of little critters. / Energy level: I have a high energy level per my former family, though it was 4-6 when I was with Mostly Mutts formerly. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer! My former family reported that I know the ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘paw’ commands. I’ll be tested on those and more soon. / I’m crate trained per my former family and my crate manners have been good since returning to Mostly Mutts. / My former family reported that I was potty trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like being busy with my family and I’m sure I have lots of other likes that we can discover together. / I’m not fond or other dogs and cats and we’re checking into the report that I’m not fond of some men. Stay tuned on that. I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m looking for a great home as your only pet. My adoption fee is $299.00 and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
Thank you for your patience and support!
