Meet Samira

A LOVING & FUN PUPPY:  Approx. 5 months old / Approx. 35 lbs. and growing Hi, my name is Samira!  Somehow, I found myself at animal control as a young puppy.  Thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to take me into their program, where I have been charming the volunteers ever since!  I’m now ready to be a great furry family member in a lucky home!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs in the prison/foster training program, and it took me a minute to warm up to them.  I was trying to be a little dominant at first, but quickly got over it and just wanted to play ‘keep away’ with some toys with them.  If you have a friendly doggie at home that would like a young friend, let’s meet!  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over!     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I made an immediate first impression when I arrived at the shelter – ‘calm, sweet and wonderful’ for my shelter bath, so yay me!  A typical puppy, I’m full of playfulness and ready to shower my people with lots of affection.  I’m simply a beautiful girl with a gentle nature that is sure to steal your heart. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer and expect to be a graduate very soon!  I already know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, and ‘place’ commands as well as accept nice strangers without jumping and use proper door etiquette.  My trainer and I are working hard now to polish up my leash manners.  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I’ve done well in my little room at the shelter, and I did well in my crate at the prison/foster training program. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule and in the prison/foster training program, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to spend time with the volunteers – whether soaking up affection and collecting those great belly rubs (my favorite) or playing with toys to get my exercise in, I love engagement with people. So – make some time to have some great play sessions with me! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility.
