Meet Doogie
A DELIGHTFUL LITTLE PUP: Approx. 7 months old / Approx. 6 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Doogie! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and was quicky adopted, but unfortunately, I was way too interested in the senior kitty in my new home, (not in a mean way – just in a way that stressed the kitty out) so as much as they loved me, I had to come back to Mostly Mutts to find a kitty-free home. Perhaps with you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: My former foster reported that I was friendly with their dogs, though cautious and aware of them. My adoptive family reported that I liked the dogs I met while I was with them, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet. / No kitties please as I’m way too interested in them and may drive them bonkers. / My former family reported that I liked kids, though I don’t recall their ages, but I’m tiny, so older kids would be best for me and of course let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as a delightful little guy who is adorable, fun and sweet. I’m also reported to be smart and that I pick up on things quickly. I’m all puppy and I do still playfully mouthy, but I also listen when I’m asked to stop. Folks say that I’m charming and smart like a Papillon and sassy like a Chihuahua. Sweet, fun and loving, I’ll make a great pet for a lucky family! / Energy level: 6-8, as I’m busy for a little guy. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are pretty good, but I still need a little work since I’m young. / My potty manners are coming along on a good schedule, though they do still need work. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I absolutely love to cuddle. I also enjoy Nylabones and playing with toys. / I can’t think of any dislikes yet but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I had a couple of baby teeth that didn’t fall out, so MM had them removed for me. If you’re looking for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, let’s meet. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets.
