‘A’ THEME PUPPY:  4 Months old / Currently 25 lbs. Hello, I’m Amy!  My brother and I were rescued from animal control and have been soaking up the love and attention of the volunteers ever since!  Now, it is time to find our furever families, and we could not be more excited! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I love my sibling and the other dogs I’ve met at Mostly Mutts, so I would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids yet, but I’d likely enjoy them as long as they are gentle with me and best no toddlers that may bump over or nibble on with my puppy teeth.  Let’s meet!               • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am sweet and fun with the typical friendly nature of a great pup!   I’ve also been quite gentle for an active puppy.  I’m playful and loving - ready to bring lots of good time to my new home! / My energy level is 5 – 7.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘place commands. Check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits are a work-in-progress, as I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule since I’m a young pup.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love attention from people and was calm and sweet for my shelter bath.  In addition to loving the company of people, play time is great!  I sure do love toys so let’s make lots of time for some great play sessions!  / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home. Dogs: Our adoption fee is $299. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash: Spay or Neuter Surgery Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella) De-Worming Microchip Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats. Each cat that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag: Spay or Neuter Surgery Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) De-Worming Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV) Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
