Meet Farah

A FUN-NATURED GIRL:  1 year old / 45 lbs. Hi, I’m Farah, but I answer to the name Mahgi (Mah-gee). Please refer to Farah though when inquiring about me as that is the name all my records are under.  I was with Mostly Mutts back when I was a puppy and I was adopted and loved by my family very much.  Unfortunately, they developed a severe allergy to me which made them miserable even with medication, so they wanted the best for me, and I was welcomed back into the Mostly Mutts family to find a new family to love.  I’m in a wonderful foster home while I wait to find my new family.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I got to go to doggie daycare in my previous home and liked the dogs there.  I also enjoy playing and running with the dog in my foster home who is much larger than me.  So, if you have a dog at home already who would love a playmate, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / My former family and foster family don’t have kids, but I’ve interacted with kids I met on my walks, and I let them pet me.  So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a happy-natured, playful and active girl who rarely barks, which I’m sure you will appreciate. I think you will also love my sweet, friendly demeanor and my joyful spirit and always wagging tail! If you work from home, I would be happy to lie next to your chair and keep you company because I’m a giver! My fosters also report that I’m smart and lovable! / My energy level is 6-8, so let’s be active together! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My former family reported that I know the ‘sit’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’, ‘come’, off’, ‘wait’ and ‘out’ commands.  I also know ‘stay’ in my foster home.  I’m a very smart girl and am sure you can teach me even more! / My crate manners have been good in my foster home, though truth be told, I’d rather be next to you.  When I am crated, I’ve been quiet, and I do enjoy a soft dog bed to lie on and a chew toy to pass the time if I wake up before my foster family. / My potty manners are wonderful in my foster home and my former family also reported that I had good potty manners.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to play and would enjoy a fenced yard where I run and have fun during great play sessions with you and the other dog in my foster home.  We run like the wind together and then hang out on the deck with our people.  I love toys, treats, being with people, getting my head and back scratched, and though I’m a big girl – I wouldn’t mind being in your lap – hint hint! / I’m not a fan of being left out of the family fun as I love being loved and doing things with people.  Otherwise, I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.   I am looking for a great home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
