Meet Benton

Hello everyone, you can call me, Sir Benton. But my close friends just call me Ben. I have an interesting story and hoping for a happy ending. I’m about three years old and lived with my family since I was a pup. They decided to move and abandoned me.  I was very lucky because I was found by a realtor. I was chained up in the backyard. It was cold. I was hungry and thirsty and very scared. I am thankful that Safe Pet Project found out about my situation.  They Jumped into action immediately. Now I’m being fostered with a really nice man, Mr. P. I have proper housing, food, water, companionship, and most of all love.  Best part is I get visitors that are working with me so I can show off my talents. Come to find out I am housebroken, I no several commands and even though I’m a bigger dog, I walk extremely well on a leash.   Nottely Oaks Animal Hospital checked me out and I’m up-to-date on all my vaccines. I have good news and bad news. The bad news is they found out I was heartworm positive and the good news is I’m being treated. The treatments pretty rough but I’ll be 100% in a few months and I’ll be looking for my FUREVER home. I’m extremely handsome and loving. I need someone to give me a break and let me be part of the family. I have a nice bark and I can let you know when strangers are around but most of all I’m looking for love. If you want to meet me, please call Safe Pet Project at 706-400-7076. Extension 2
